We made it to California! We arrived around 1pm but definitely took the scenic tour to Anaheim. I forgot that the other day I turned the major roads feature off of my GPS so it would avoid major roads/freeways. I'm sure we ended up going the long way through a bunch of cities but it's all good. We're here at our beautifully renovated Motel 6. I took pictures that I'll post a little later because it looks nothing like a budget hotel. We're impressed.
Ooooh, we ate a Sizzler when we arrived!!! I love Sizzler and we don't have them back home anymore so I was seriously excited for the salad bar.
Tomorrow we're heading to Disneyland after a much deserved sleep tonight! We're both really tired so we'll head to the pool in a bit and then go to bed.

Sounds like you are really having fun already.
Ashley you have such courage to get out there and drive in places you have never been before WOW !!!!
